Carving and Turning

E-mail Print PDF

Carving has been a necessary part of my work to replace missing / damaged parts on furniture / ornate gilded frames and the like but I have been commissioned to carve many one off pieces over the years. Photographs of some of these are shown on this web site. I also have a small copy-carving machine, which enables items to be produced much cheaper than by hand, but of course you need a carving for the machine to follow. Turning has also been a necessity to make and repair furniture but I also produce turnings for other furniture makers more often than not in large batches and all by hand.
